Description:
We’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as a janitor. You’ll be in charge of the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of our building. A typical day includes vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing floors, shampooing carpets, and any additional maintenance duties as needed. If you take pride in a clean space and love working on a team, fill out an application. Responsibilities: • Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, and supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis• Report areas cleaned and make sure managers know if major repairs are needed• Eliminate dangerous hazards and wipe up spills with squeegees or sponges• Perform daily janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture, and emptying trash• Lock doors to ensure building security once cleaning is finished Qualifications: • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite • 1+ years of experience as a janitor, cleaning crew member, or similar position• Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment Compensation: $16 About Company: At Valley Fitness we’re not just a gym; we’re a thriving community dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals.
