The ideal candidate should possess at least 5+ years of legal practice, with a strong preference for significant transactional experience and expertise in renewable energy law. This role requires solid communication skills for regular client interaction, including in-house counsel and commercial representatives. Superior analytical abilities, legal writing, and grammar skills are essential for success in this position.Duties:Provide legal counsel and support on renewable energy transactions.Conduct legal research and analysis on various renewable energy projects and regulatory matters.Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memoranda.Assist in due diligence processes for renewable energy projects.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Requirements:Minimum 5+ years of legal practice, preferably with significant transactional experience.Experience in renewable energy law is highly preferred.Background or expertise in Engineering, Construction, Finance, or Tax law is advantageous.Superior internal and external communication skills.Excellent analytical, legal writing, and grammar skills.Strong academic credentials from an accredited, top-tier law school.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications (Preferred):Admission to the State Bar in North Carolina or eligibility for reciprocity.Skills:Proficiency in legal research methods and resources.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
