Job Title: Construction Specialist II Schedule: 9/80 Location: Seminole, TX / Denver City, TX Pay: DOE Danos Expectations: A successful candidate will exhibit characteristics that support the following: o Safety Awareness o Work Ethic o Technical Skill o Customer Focus o Open Communication o Implementing Vision and Values Manages construction materials and provides supervisory direction to personnel working at the construction site. Responsible for ensuring all assigned construction work is completed safely, on time and within budget. Ability to communicate with multiple construction specialties involved in the construction process. Working technical and managerial knowledge with the duties and responsibilities of other construction professionals to include surveyors, architects, estimators, engineers and equipment operators. Job Duties: * Provides overall direction to contractors providing services * Plans, coordinates, and implements the construction designs and offers recommendations as necessary * Coordinates with other supervisors at the construction site to facilitate work priorities * Prepares schedules and work assignments for construction personnel * Ensures construction work is completed on time and within set budget criteria and standards. * Duties and responsibilities may be added or changed at any time at the discretion of your supervisor, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Competencies: * Computer knowledge - Proficient utilizing MS Windows environment * Strong initiative and self-starter * Demonstrate experience and knowledge with various building methods and elements and phases of construction project * Possesses a working knowledge of the construction industry * Understands how to implement construction best practices, as well as demonstrates the ability to supervise through multiple construction phases * Must be able to issue clear directions to construction workers of different trades * Technical Skills related to math and analytical thinking for construction and be skilled in their usage/application * Ability to keep neat and accurate records * Multi-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization * Excellent Interpersonal Communications skills in a team environment including written reports, oral and email. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Understanding of Importance of environmental and Safe Work Practices Qualifications: * 4-5+ years of Oil & Gas Construction Foreman/Specialist/Consultant experience * Experience with New Drills, Upgrade of tank battery facilities and Plant Projects; New Construction Facilities/Pipeline * Must be thoroughly trained/experienced with P&ID's and ISO's; JSA Permits and Status Update experience * Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision * Experienced managing multiple crews and projects * Candidate must reside within in Denver City, Seminole, Levelland, TX or Hobbs NM or immediate surrounding area. * High School Diploma or GED equivalent required * Ability to work 10 hr days and overtime and holidays as needed * Must maintain clear driving record, maintain company vehicle and abide by vehicle policies. * Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty About Us The Danos Difference Team up with Danos, and be a part of one of the safest and best-performing companies in the business.
