Our primary goal is to be the best IT support team our customers have ever worked with.The Role: IT Systems Administrator AtlassianThe IT Systems Administrator focusing on Atlassian will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and configuration of Chegg's Atlassian and ITSM platform. The products you will be supporting include, but are not limited to, Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence. This position will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Atlassian tools to support Chegg's collaboration and project management needs, as well as overseeing and customizing our ITSM platform.The ideal candidate is experienced working in a small and efficient IT team. This position is uniquely suited to highly organized individuals with a solid breadth of IT knowledge, experience, and the ability to collaborate with all levels of technical competency. Exceptional customer service is a must for all IT team members. If you are comfortable wearing multiple hats and enjoy working with cutting edge technology to solve problems, this is the job for you!Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: * Administer and maintain the Atlassian product suite (Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, etc.). * Configure and customize Atlassian tools to meet our organizations business needs, including workflows, permissions, screens, fields, and plugins. * Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and implement best practices for using Atlassian products. * Design and support custom Jira and Confluence automations using ScriptRunner. * Assist in training end users on how to effectively use the Atlassian suite for project management, collaboration, and documentation purposes. * Manage and administer our ITSM platform and ensure that it aligns with our organization's requirements and best practices. * Perform monitoring and tuning of systems to achieve optimum performance levels. * Create documentation for system designs, procedures and customer-facing help. * Incident and Problem Management * Solve complex issues while serving as escalation point for Global Service Desk team. * Ability to cross-train on other IT systems for on-call or backup support.Requirements * 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Atlassian administrator. * Strong understanding of project management practices, including Agile methodologies and how they can be supported by Atlassian tools. * Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy or Python. * In-depth knowledge of administering ITSM tools. * Must be able to work varied work hours, "on-call", including evenings, weekends and holidays. * Occasional travel may be required. This includes travel to other company locations for meetings, training, or conferences.The pay range for this position is $95,332 to $177,026.
