20231204-BP-309-01 Active (NSA) Top Secret Clearance with Poly Required Salary Range: Up to $60K **salary is commensurate with education and experience** Job Summary We are seeking a Level 1 Test Engineer to join our team with an Opportunity to Telework . In this role, you'll analyze complex systems, develop innovative testing strategies, and contribute to key government test and evaluation documentation. This position offers the opportunity to work on critical projects that have a significant impact. **Please note: This job requires an existing NSA Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph** Technical Skills: Automated Testing experience a plus, PYTEST and JUnit Core Responsibilities: Develop and execute evaluation and test plans based on detailed analysis of system requirements and operations documents. Engage in comprehensive research and apply your understanding of government test and evaluation principles across various engineering and operational domains. Implement and manage performance analysis, focusing on identifying and mitigating risk areas. Utilize your expertise in modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis to ensure robust performance evaluations. Plan and execute data collection strategies, ensuring alignment with program objectives and decision-making needs. Collaborate closely with systems engineering teams and other stakeholders to enhance test and evaluation processes. Produce detailed evaluation plans, analysis reports, and contribute to key government documentation in the field of test and evaluation. Experience Needed: Citizenship: Must Be a US Citizen Existing Clearance Required: Active Top-Secret SCI with Poly A minimum of two years of experience as a Test Engineer in projects of similar scope and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution. Alternatively, four additional years of TE experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree. Working in NSA's UWE, EVO, and probably WANDS-U environments. Some of the work may require public interaction (e.g. participating on/in NIST's public GitHub) if that has any (e.g. ITAR) entanglements.
