We also offer our patients access to a comprehensive continuum of care through our on-site services, such as durable medical equipment , MRI , physical therapy , regenerative medicine, surgery centers , and X-rays .In addition to our dedication to providing our patients with individualized patient care, we are also committed to serving our local communities. As part of this dedication, we proudly support and provide sports medicine care for Fort Walton Beach High School, Choctawhatchee High School, South Walton High School, and Niceville High School as their school's team doctors. Responsibilities: Verifying patients' identity and reviewing physicians’ orders before beginning x-ray procedures. Using x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients per physicians’ orders. Explaining x-ray procedures to patients and answering their questions. Positioning patients accordingly, which may include lifting and moving patients with limited mobility. Limiting patients' exposure to radiation by placing lead shields on patients where needed. Ensuring that the x-rays taken are of sound quality to prevent repeat procedures Ensuring that the x-ray equipment is regularly serviced and in good working order. Promptly notifying management and technician of damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment. Assist with inventory of supplies Proactive to help others in a clinical setting Qualifications: License: Active Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the State of Florida Certification: AHA BLS, AART - R Experience: New graduates accepted Education: Completion of a formal Radiology Tech program Benefits : 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Uniform Reimbursement Mileage Reimbursement Schedule : Day shift No Evening shift No weekends No call Travel requirement: willing to work in any of our 4 locations ( Fort Walton, Destin, Niceville or Crestview as needed)
