Please follow this link for a closer look at what it's like to work at Children's Wisconsin: https://www.instagram.com/lifeatcw/ Position Summary: The Safety Center Program Coordinator will support the Program Manager and the work of the Children's Wisconsin Teen Driving Program, including the Safe Roads Challenge Wisconsin pilot program. The program focuses on preventing traffic-related loss in teens and provides outreach and education to teens ages 13-19, parents, and the community about distracted driving (including texting), seat belt use, speeding, impaired driving, nighttime driving, Graduated Driver Licensing, and being a good passenger. Children's Wisconsin partners with schools and organizations across the state to develop, implement and promote teen driver safety programs.This position is 100% grant funded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Does not require the child passenger safety technician certification. Primarily remote with the ability to work on site and in the community as needed.Supports a specific initiative/program area(s) within the Children's Safety Center. The primary role of the Program Coordinator is to coordinate activities related to the work plan. Duties include coordinating and assisting with the creation and delivery of educational opportunities, including providing training for families and staff, facilitating meetings and agendas, researching information and data in preparation of reports or presentations, reaching out to individuals or groups to build relationships. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent knowledge) in community health, public health, human services, social work, business management or other health related field. Requires 1 year of experience in program coordination or administrative support Requires a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, minimum liability insurance coverage and the ability to be insured by the CW auto insurance carrier.
