Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Identify, solicit, develop and expand internal and external relationships in assigned geographic territory to support community development lending and outreach strategies for Enterprise CRA program. The position is based in Philadelphia PA and the position covers the state of Pennsylvania and the state of New Jersey. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Develop, expand and foster key relationships that generate measureable lending and service opportunities2. Develop and institute the CRA/Community Development Go To Market Strategy to ensure comprehensive solutions are developed to address identified needs throughout Truist markets3. Proactively partner with Relationship Managers to participate in joint calls with clients and prospects in which credit and underwriting knowledge of various local, state, and federal programs can be leveraged to deliver complex lending solutions. 4. Collaborate with Relationship Managers/Business Units in the review and underwriting process for qualified Community Development Loans; track and report Community Development Lending; provide reporting to Senior Leadership in assigned territories on performance and determine solutions for improving lending performance to goal5. Establish and manage diverse Community Development Councils that provide strategic direction in the needs ascertainment process for assigned territory and create initiatives that are responsive to those needs.6. Maintain knowledge of CRA and community development related legislation; facilitate training sessions for Business Units on CRA and strategies that will improve the bank's performance in obtaining an outstanding CRA rating from the FDIC.7. Work in conjunction with Exam Management team in reviewing, writing and validating information to be included in the exam submission materials provided to the FDIC. QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent education and related experience.2. Six years of experience in community development including experience analyzing real estate or similar projects utilizing public and private funding sources.3. Working knowledge of public and private funding sources, community development programs, credit analysis, real estate development from feasibility analysis through construction, tax credits, bond financing and working understanding of economic development finance.4. Ability to effectively manage complex business/management situations and a large geographic territory.5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.6. Excellent self-management and motivation principles.7. Good interpersonal communication, marketing and public relations skills.8. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in business or related field or comparable experience2. Experience working with non-profits and governmental agencies3. Negotiating skills relating to lending, project finance structuring and good comprehension of related contracts, documents and agreementsThe annual base salary for this position is $103,800 to $157,776. The starting salary wage for this position is $103,800- $157,776. Mental Able to focus, interpret information logically to solve problems, and answer customers' questions appropriately. Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need. Travel Up to 50% Physical Conditions / Environment Normal office environment where there is little or no discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or other disagreeable elements.
