What You’ll Do: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team at SureCost. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers and play a key role in shaping the future of our platform. As an Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide the development of cutting-edge features, and drive technical excellence within the organization. Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards. Technical Guidance: Act as a technical advisor and make critical decisions on software architecture, design, and implementation. Quality Assurance: Champion best practices for code quality, testing, and code reviews to maintain a high level of software excellence. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps and ensure alignment between engineering and business objectives. Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of top engineering talent to expand the team. Performance and Development: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, identifying opportunities for growth and development. What You’ll Need: BS, MS, or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field is preferred Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role in a software development environment. 5+ years of experience building innovative, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Strong technical background in software development, including expertise in one or more programming languages. (Java is preferred) Experience developing, deploying, and testing in AWS. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A passion for fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Knowledge of pharmacy operations and healthcare technology is a plus.
