This is no exception to Samsung Ads. At Samsung Ads, the Platform Intelligence (PI) team is actively exploring the latest machine learning techniques to improve our existing systems and products and create new revenue streams. Our mission is to represent Samsung's leadership in large-scale machine learning products by collaborating with the best and brightest and creating a collaborative environment between industry and academia. As a machine learning intern, you will have access to unique Samsung proprietary data to develop and deploy a wide spectrum of large-scale machine learning products with real-world impact. You will work closely with and be supported by a talented engineering team and top-notch researchers to work on exciting machine learning projects and state-of-the-art technologies. You will be welcomed by a unique learning culture and creative work atmosphere. Publications and patents are expected as outputs of an internship. Responsibilities --- Explore cutting-edge machine learning technologies for our products --- Design and develop machine learning algorithms and models for real-world products --- Closely work with the machine learning engineering team to deploy new models to generate real-world impact --- Create quick prototypes and proof-of-concepts for future product features --- Design experiments, perform evaluations, and apply enhancements to our products --- Publish research results in top venues and file patents Skills and Qualifications Experience Requirements --- PhD students in Computer Science or relevant fields --- Solid theoretical background in machine learning and/or data mining --- Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and models --- Proficiency in data structures, algorithms and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, etc.) --- Strong programming skills with Python --- Good communication and interpersonal skills --- Publications in relevant top venues (e.g., KDD, NIPS, ICML, AAAI, IJCAI, ICDM, ACL, etc.) Preferred Experience Requirements --- Basic knowledge about big data tools and data pipeline * Please visit Samsung membership to see Privacy Policy, which defaults according to your location.
