St. Lucie Battery & Tire is seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our growing team. This position plays a crucial role in our company's operational success, ensuring timely delivery and transportation of goods to our clients and between our locations. Primary Responsibilities: Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck Load and unload cargo Properly track and document activity log Report any issues or incidents to dispatch Inspect truck before and after the trip Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents, or violations Minimum Requirements: Valid CDL A license 3 years’ work experience as a CDL A driver Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) High school diploma Hazmat endorsement not required, but preferred Benefits: Health insurance Life insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid vacation PTO days 401K matching Employee discount Family-owned business Powered by JazzHR
