Summary The Inventory Supervisor assists in essential responsibilities of the inventory department and ensures state compliance standards and Planet 13 standards are met by performing the following duties. Inventories, stores, and restocks product and assists with displays in retail store. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists Specialist with keeping the sales floor stocked with the corresponding products for sale. Manage inventory models ensuring the right products are distributed. Maintain inventory in a neat, orderly, and safe manner on the sales floor and warehouse. Ensure menu updates and displays are properly moved. Helps SKU new inventory products with corresponding barcodes. Communicate sold out and last of products. Assist with deliveries and intakes when needed. Comply with inventory control procedures. Alerts Inventory Management, Assistant Inventory Manager, and HR of any discrepancies or issues while on shift. Assist with monthly and yearly audits. Train new employees on duties, compliance, and essential inventory systems. Responsible for the destruction of waste products. Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure. Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures , and performance standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises 2 to 8 employees in the Inventory and Wholesale Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and delegating work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications Directly supervises 2 to 8 employees in the inventory department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must be 21 years of age or older. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
