Group Home Manager, Benhaven Residential Services

Description:
Benhaven Residential Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Group Home Manager to oversee the operations and the care of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our group home setting. This is a Full-time, flexible 37.5 hour per week exempt position. Responsibilities: Supervise and lead direct care staff in the delivery of quality care and services to individuals in the group home Develop and implement individualized care plans in conjunction with the individuals, their families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Ensure the group home is compliant with all regulatory standards and licensing requirements Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, budget management, and maintenance of the physical environment Provide guidance and support to staff in addressing behavioral challenges and implementing positive behavior support plans Maintain open communication with individuals, families, external providers, and other stakeholders Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff Collaborate with other managers and supervisors to promote continuity of care and best practices across programs Qualifications: High school diploma, college degree preferred Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including at least one year in a supervisory role (residential setting preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of behavioral support techniques and person-centered planning Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a variety of background checks Flexibility of schedule to meet the needs of the home including on-call responsibilities Employee Incentives: Anthem Medical & Dental Insurance (after 60 days of employment) FSA (Flexible Spending Account) Dependent Care Account Long-term Disability (employer paid) Term-Life Insurance (employer paid) Voluntary LifeVacation (accrued)Sick days (accrued) 3 Personal Days (prorated) 8 Holidays EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Employee Discounts (Tickets-At-Work, Verizon, Alliance college discounts, etc.) Employee Referral Program Mutual of America 403b & 401a If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and have the skills and experience to lead a team effectively, we encourage you to apply for the Group Home Manager position at Benhaven Residential Services.Benhaven, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
