Practice Area: Finance - General,Finance - Public Finance,Finance - Project Finance, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 7 Years, Job Overview: A law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a seasoned Public Finance Associate Attorney with 7-9 years of experience in project finance/public finance, particularly in transportation, water/wastewater, and public building projects. The ideal candidate will be a member of the California Bar with excellent academic credentials, superior research, and writing skills.Duties:Provide legal counsel and support in project finance/public finance transactions.Act as bond counsel, underwriter counsel (preferably on project finance transactions), lender’s counsel, and/or sponsor/equity counsel.Conduct due diligence and draft legal documents related to finance transactions.Collaborate with other attorneys, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate transactions.Requirements:7-9 years of experience in project finance/public finance.Extensive experience in transportation, water/wastewater, and public building projects.Membership in the California Bar.Excellent academic credentials.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:California Bar membership.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.
