Non-Exempt Brighton Center, Inc. is a private non-profit community-based organization with the mission to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment, and leadership. Purpose: To ensure the safety and welfare of program participants and smooth flow of household operations including general supervision and care of program participants. Job Responsibilities: Assessments for program eligibilityAssist with intakesMonitor vitals for the potential withdrawal of substancesDocumentation of customer informationSupervision of customers and providing crisis counseling as neededHourly house checks for safety and security Requirements: Highschool Diploma or GED; Peer Support Specialist Certification a plusMust be able to work evenings, overnight, and weekend shifts and be flexible with scheduleAbility to use MS Word, Excel, and Outlook for data entry and communication with the teamBroad knowledge of signs and symptoms of drug and/or alcohol withdrawalBroad knowledge of behavior management techniques and crisis counselingKnowledge of substance use disorders and recoveryBroad knowledge of a peer driven model What we offer: Competitive Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits Retirement Plan-employer contribution of 4% of gross salary for 403b and additional 2% match optionGenerous Vacation and Sick Leave11.5 Paid HolidaysChildcare DiscountAgency Life and Long-Term Disability InsuranceProfessional DevelopmentEducation Awards This is a non-exempt position with an hourly wage of $15.00.
