Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial,Litigation - Class Actions - Defense,Litigation - Securities Litigation - Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Miami is seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will possess superior writing, research, and analytical skills, with a strong academic background from nationally recognized schools. Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation is highly preferred. A previous federal clerkship is a plus. Job Duties:Represent clients in class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.Meet deadlines and expectations while performing work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external parties.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar or ability to waive in.3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation is highly preferred.Previous federal clerkship experience is a plus. Skills:Superior writing skills.Excellent research and analytical abilities.Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts.Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Strong organizational and time management skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges. Education/Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar or ability to waive in.Previous federal clerkship experience is a plus.
