Description: This position is a unique opportunity within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics legendary Skunk Works operations (known as Advanced Development Programs - ADP), whereby you will serve as a Project Engineer within the ADP Proposal/Engineering and Technology organization.You will report to the Aero Contract Technical Requirements (CTR) Manager and the ADP CTR lead and will be expected to quickly gain the knowledge and experience to perform the following tasks:* Coordinate with Proposal Development Center (PDC), Program Mangers, Business Managers, Contracts, Pricing and others within ADP and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company to develop and execute business/proposal strategies. * Responsible for planning, developing, and managing technical documentation (e.g., Statement of Work (SOW)) for use in proposal preparation and program execution.* Responsible for reviewing Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from external customers to establish the scope and level of detail required for the contract technical documents for each proposal. * Assist with ensuring timely inputs for the proposal schedule to accomplish execution of the detailed plan. * Accurately input and maintain data within the Aeronautics Proposal Tool Suite (APTS) and other databases as well as extract proposal metrics and organize and graphically display the data.* Provide proposal performance information to Lockheed Martin Corporation, LM Aero Core groups and ADP functions as necessary.* Support fact-finding and negotiation efforts as a member of the proposal team.* Responsible for obtaining approvals, releasing, and providing configuration management of the contract technical documents. Basic Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheetsMust be able to work independently in a multi-discipline environmentAbility to collaborate with and lead multiple functional teams to meet common goals and objectives Experience in analysis and preparation of technical documentationExperience with Government solicitationsExperience with intellectual property rights and requirementsExperience with FAR/DFARS requirements (e.g. Earned Value Management (EVM))Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM related discipline Active Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain Top SecretActive SCI clearance Desired Skills: Working knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)Familiar with Risk and Opportunity ManagementWorking knowledge of Aeronautics Proposal Tool Suite (APTS) Knowledge of / experience with LM Aeronautics proposal process and tools (ADP experience a plus) Active Top Secret clearanceMust be energetic, outgoing and a self-starterAbility to rapidly adapt to changing requirementsExcellent organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to travel Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
