We provide welcoming environments for authentic community to thrive, where individuals are embraced, loved, and known.**Job Description:**We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Director of First Impressions and Assimilation. In this role, you will lead a team of volunteers dedicated to creating welcoming environments and facilitating the assimilation of attendees into Compassion Church.**Responsibilities:**- Lead and empower a team of volunteers to ensure that every individual who walks through our doors experiences a warm and inviting atmosphere.- Develop and implement systems and processes to effectively assimilate newcomers into the life of Compassion Church, guiding them in their next steps of spiritual growth and community involvement.- Oversee the coordination of all first impressions initiatives, including greeting, hospitality, and guest services.- Collaborate with other church leaders to create a seamless transition for newcomers into various ministries and programs.- Provide ongoing training and support for volunteers, equipping them to serve with excellence and passion.- Foster a culture of hospitality, inclusivity, and love within the church community.- Regularly evaluate and improve upon existing assimilation strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.**Qualifications:**- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.- Passionate about creating welcoming environments and fostering authentic community.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to develop and implement effective systems.- Experience in volunteer management or team leadership preferred.- Commitment to the mission and values of Compassion Church.- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed for ministry.**Employment Type:** Full-time or Part-time, FlexiblePay Range- 35,000- 40,000 for Full Time/ Work Days Sunday-ThursdayBenefits: Flexibility, Preschool Beginning August 1st, Mental Health/Counseling CareJoin us in making Compassion Church a place where people can find belonging, grow in their faith, and experience the love of Christ in tangible ways.
