Practice Area: Corporate - Private Equity, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm is seeking a Private Equity Finance Attorney for their office in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of private equity sponsored leveraged acquisition finance transactions experience. The candidate will work on a broad range of private equity sponsored financing transactions, including traditional leveraged financings, term loan and revolver facilities, cash flow and asset based loan facilities, mezzanine credit facilities as well as a variety of financings for portfolio companies of our private equity clients. They will be responsible for managing closing processes, reviewing and drafting loan documents, including commitment letters, term sheets, loan agreements, and collateral documents. Prior experience with borrower-side representation is preferred, but lender-side representation (especially with private credit lenders) is also desired. Private equity borrower-side representation is a plus. Duties:Manage closing processes for private equity sponsored financing transactionsReview and draft loan documents, including commitment letters, term sheets, loan agreements, and collateral documentsCommunicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third partiesProduce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive mannerProvide timely, accurate, and quality work productSuccessfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as requiredFoster positive work relationshipsComply with all firm policies and practicesEngage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as working at a computer for extended periods of time, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as neededPerform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned Requirements:Admitted to practice in the state of GeorgiaDirect and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experienceJ.D. degree Skills:Strong understanding of private equity sponsored financing transactionsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyAttention to detail and accuracy in work productProficiency in legal research and analysisTeam player with the ability to foster positive work relationshipsProficient in Microsoft Office suite and legal research databases This Amlaw firm is best known for allowing its associates to find a balanced work load that best suites them.
