If that's the case, our busy quick service restaurant has a great opening for a cook like you. Someone with experience setting up food service areas, preparing a high-volume of food, and maintaining proper food storage conditions is desired. An interest in learning and prior work experience in the food industry are ideal qualities for the position. We need someone who can perform well under pressure, can prioritize their tasks, and can work well with others on the crew while working in a sports or concert environment. This position is open right now if that sounds like you! Responsibilities: • Guarantee that quality food is supplied by following specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products• Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations• Cook food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions• Check food temperatures with thermometers to ensure that food has reached safe levels of heat for consumption• Sweep, mop, clean countertops, and wipe down all used surface areas at the end of each shift Qualifications: • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic• We prefer some experience working in the fast food or quick service restaurant industry• Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage Compensation: $18 hourly About Company: Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks is one of the fastest-growing businesses in Atlanta, Georgia.
