We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team at Dog Lovers Rock LLC in Tinley Park, IL. In this role, you will help plan and manage daily operations, while overseeing customer service and canine care. You will work with a team of dedicated employees to deliver exceptional service to our customers and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for our canine guests. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service and enjoys working with animals. You will be offered a competitive salary of $40,000, as well as other attractive benefits. Responsibilities:• Ensure that all customers have a positive experience through exemplary customer service• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of the store, including inventory management, sales, cash handling, and product display• Monitor store floor and stock and ensure its cleanliness and readiness for business• Train, supervise, and motivate staff, provide feedback, and handle personnel problems• Analyze customer demand and create promotional and pricing strategies to enhance sales• Enjoy being in a dynamic job where no task is above or below you Qualifications:• US Work Authorization• Microsoft Office Skills (As Determined by an Assessment)• 18 years or Older• Able to Lift up to 35 lbs.• Proven ability to manage a team and lead by example• Minimum of 2 years of prior management experience• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Strong knowledge of industry trends and technologies• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and customer issues• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic office applications• Ability to multitask effectively and work independently when necessary• Highly organized and detailed-oriented• Solid understanding of sales and financial principles and practices.
