What we're looking for: Previous experience working with commercial equipment, three compartment sinks, and in high-volume kitchens Positive teamwork mentality Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bar Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas Sweep and scrub floors Occasionally clean and prepare various foods for cooking and serving Work Environment Fast paced kitchen High sense of urgency Moderate to high noise level State of the art kitchen and equipment Requirements ServSafe/California Food Handler certification is required. The ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and humid environment is necessary.
