Description In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children under your care. You will play a crucial role in the children's overall well-being, growth, and development during their formative years. Your compassionate and patient demeanor will create a positive and supportive atmosphere for both the children and their families. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor child at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being. Engage child in age-appropriate activities to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, rest periods, and meals. Attend to the personal needs of child, including feeding, preparing meals, diapering, and hygiene routines. Observe and record any significant changes in a child's behavior, health, or development and communicate this information to parents or guardians. Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, including play areas, toys, and supplies. Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements: Proven experience in child care, either through formal education or practical experience. Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities. Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on their level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with parents and co-workers effectively. Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities while maintaining a focus on child safety and well-being. First Aid and CPR certification is a plus. Willingness to undergo a criminal record check for the safety of the children.
