Description: This position is for an Engineering First LineManager (FLM) to support the Command &Control, Digital Signal Processing, andInformation Operations (C2, DSP, & IO)organization for the Rotary Mission SystemsEngineering & Technology (E&T) organizationbased in Valley Forge PA.C2, DSP, & IO has an established history ofprototyping, systems engineering, and softwaredevelopment for DoD and IC customers insupport of the warfighter. Our programs straddlethe intersection of Radio Frequency EnabledCyber/Electronic Warfare convergence anddeliver capabilities like Cyber ElectromagneticActivities, Software Defined Radios, and Military& Commercial Communication Protocols. As an FLM, on a day to day basis you would beresponsible for:* Managing technical planning, systemintegration, verification and validation, cost andrisk, and supportability and effectivenessanalyses for total systems.* Responsible for coordinating subordinateemployee recruitment, selection and training,performance assessment, work assignments,salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.* Involved in all aspects of functional,programmatic and technical coordination andexecution of the programs their employeessupport. This includes managing content acrossmultiple agile development teams and engagingwith functional and program leadership regularly.* The Associate Manager will also hold atechnical, programmatic role, in addition to theirFLM responsibilities.#RMSC6ISR Basic Qualifications: * In depth understanding of systems engineeringand/or software engineering principles* Demonstrable knowledge and experience withsystems or software engineering activities onreal-time systems* Proven leadership experience in engineeringassignments and successful proven results inleading and executing multi discipline programs* Deep understanding of the Engineeringdevelopment process* Ability to multi-task, outstanding effectiveinterpersonal skills, and a consistent track recordof teambuilding Desired Skills: * Prior experience and/or knowledge of theC6ISR or Spectrum Convergence domain* Experience with fast-paced, agile softwaredevelopment programs* Prior Lead Systems Engineering/projectengineering/management experience* Current Top-Secret Clearance with aninvestigation within 6 years* Proposal or Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROM)experience Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
