Job Title: Civil Engineer/Project Manager - Site Development Location: Midland, TX Key Responsibilities: Spearhead client development and management efforts, ensuring strong relationships, meticulous financial oversight, and prompt responsiveness. Craft detailed proposals, define project scopes, establish fees, and monitor project performance diligently. Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with city departments to facilitate project success. Represent the company in various hearings, commissions, and council meetings, providing expert presentations. Oversee a team of engineers and technicians, guiding leadership and ensuring technical excellence in pavement design, utilities, site grading, drainage solutions, and other site elements. Demonstrate familiarity with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and other pivotal design criteria. Efficiently manage the requirements for in-house and external surveying support. Engage actively in community involvement, seeking leadership roles within civic, technical, and professional organizations. Manage diverse project types, including office, retail, industrial, and institutional site designs; residential subdivisions; and municipal roadway, drainage, and planning projects. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Texas. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, as outlined in the responsibilities section. Desired additional experience includes: Proficient project management, encompassing plans production and oversight of tasks such as entitlements (Platting, Zoning, Municipal Permitting), Site Planning, Development Master Planning, and more. Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Grading and Drainage Design, Street and Alley Design, Site Design, Water and Wastewater Design, Hydrology and Hydraulics Analysis, SWP3s, General Civil Design, and Construction Management.
