St. Gabriel's Hospice & Palliative Care is hiring an Billing Assistant to support our hospice billing team in Weatherford, TX. Benefits Include: Medical and Dental Insurance 401(k) Paid time off Flexible Schedule Great Culture Job Duties: Efficient or familiar with Wellsky Consolo and TMHP Enter 3071/3074 forms into TMHP Medicaid database Create nursing home invoices and assist with processing payments Verify patient’s eligibility Create emails to local offices regarding billing errors Resolve billing discrepancies by conducting further research and correcting errors Check shared Google sheets daily to keep up to date information required for authorization to bill Contact HHSC regarding form errors Follow up on billing errors and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner Skills: Advanced in Microsoft Applications and Google sheets Receptive Detail-oriented Works well under pressure Time management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem solving skills Highly Organized Team Player Self-Motivated Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have previous experience with typing, clerical skills, and computers Two years of experience in healthcare related billing functions is preferred. Hospice experience preferred. We are searching for an individual who possesses a high degree of integrity, strong work ethic and a dedication to compassionate patient care.
