Responsibilities & Duties: The Extrusion Technicians are skilled in the production of plastic film in order to achieve maximum output of high quality products for use in packaging and electronics applications. Responsibilities include operating extrusion equipment, packaging, roll handling, forklift operation, housekeeping and process/quality checks. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: A high degree of alertness in order to identify safety process and quality problems in assigned production area. Good listening and communication skills required to accomplish assigned tasks. Good written communication skills required to document process conditions and facilitate the transfer of information as required. Ability to acquire, retain and accurately implement a thorough knowledge of production processes. A degree of independent judgement Ability to promote a positive work environment. Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent. Compensation: The starting pay rate is $25.10 per hour. The shift differential for working nights is an additional $1.30 per hour.
