Position Description:Job Purpose and Scope: Performs origination and analyses of potential commercial real estate lending opportunities on behalf of Bank.Essential Job Functions: * Analyzes Loan Request Memorandums and financial statements and performs projections. * Pre-screens potential lending opportunities for further analysis. * Populates and analyzes proprietary Bank financial Excel models. * Reviews and comprehends market data and real estate trends. * Drafts credit memorandums for committee approval. * Conducts other general financial analysis as required. * Assists senior staff members, as necessary. * Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions. * Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work. * Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Knowledge of all types of real estate. * Knowledge of financial concepts sufficient to allow candidate to analyze complex industry, economic, and financial data and interpret results and present findings. * Ability to problem-solve using analytical, logistical, and verbal/written communication skills. * Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including discussing complicated issues and opportunities with substantial real estate owners and developers. * Ability to articulate the strengths, weaknesses and issues related to a transaction, in both written and oral presentations. * Ability to multi-task and work well with exacting deadlines. * Ability to work under general supervision. * Skill in using Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, and ARGUS.Equipment Used in Job Performance/Working Environment: * Computer * Telephone * Multi-function device (print, copy, scan)Major Job Demands (Physical/Mental): * Decision-making * Problem-solvingNote: This description is not an exhaustive list of all job functions, duties, skills and job standards required.
