The ideal candidate will possess expertise in insurance coverage and litigation matters. New York Bar admission is mandatory for this position.Duties:Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, trial, and appeals.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Manage case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Participate in case strategy development and client meetings.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar.Minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance coverage matters.Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.Confidence in courtroom advocacy and litigation techniques.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
