The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executive compensation and employee benefits, with expertise in company representation, compensation disclosure issues, and transactional matters, including tax and securities law.Duties:Provide legal advice and counsel on executive compensation, employment, and benefits matters.Conduct research and analysis on tax, securities, and other relevant executive compensation and benefits laws.Draft and review legal documents, including employment agreements, equity compensation, and benefit plans.Assist with negotiations and transactions involving executive compensation and benefits.Collaborate with other attorneys and departments to address client needs effectively.Stay updated on legal developments and trends in executive compensation and benefits law.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits law.Strong understanding of tax, securities, and other relevant executive compensation and benefits laws.Experience in company representation and compensation disclosure issues.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Strong drafting and reviewing skills.Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Collaboration and teamwork.
