As a Program Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and operations of programs and services in a specified geographical area. What will I be doing? Program Leadership: Provide strategic direction for the development and execution of programs and services. Innovate and implement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness. Liaison Role: Establish and cultivate strong collaborative relationships with referring agencies. Act as the primary contact for communication and coordination between agencies. Comprehensive Management: Oversee personnel, financial elements, and program functions for seamless daily operations. Implement and optimize processes to ensure efficiency and quality service delivery. Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with all licensure, payer, and accreditation regulations and standards in your designated region. Stay abreast of industry changes and adapt policies and procedures accordingly. Am I a good fit? Knowledgeable Professional: Demonstrate expertise in expanded principles of program development, fiscal management, and personnel policies. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices. Clinical Proficiency: Showcase proficiency in the principles and practices of clinical services and effective supervision. Provide guidance and support to clinical staff. Leadership Attributes: Model best leadership practices, including active listening, effective communication, professional boundaries, time management, and collaboration. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture. Decision-Making Skills: Exhibit the ability to evaluate, execute, and follow through with well-reasoned decisions that uphold the professional integrity of HCA. Analyze complex situations and make sound judgments. Qualifications: Educational Background: Possess a master's degree in a human services discipline (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling). Additional certifications or training in program management are a plus. Licensing: Must be licensed with the Virginia Board of Counseling as an LMHP. Maintain current licensure and stay informed about any updates or changes. Experience: Bring at least 5 years of experience working with children and families in the in-home/community-based environment. Have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, demonstrating effective leadership skills. Compensation and Benefits: Pay Range: $55,000-$65,000, experience-based.
