Leasing Professional Summary Smart Apartment Solutions is seeking experienced leasing professionals with tax credit or affordable housing experience for the Property Management Industry. As a Leasing Agent, you are the first step in creating a sense of community for current and prospective residents. You are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and using your sales skills to convert property tours to leases. Consider this role as the first line of defense for the property manager. This position reports to the property manager and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions. We reward referrals with a $100 bonus!• Answer the phone and maintain organized and proper filing systems• Sell/Lease apartment inventory• Greet prospective residents and work with current residents to resolve concerns and submit service requests• Oversee and ensure the accurate completion of application and lease paperwork• Adhere to marketing campaigns as needed• Assist the Property Manager to ensure compliance with all resident files• Assist with community events and resident retention Education Level: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Must Haves • Minimum of 6 months' experience within the Multifamily Industry• Property Management software knowledge such as Yardi, OneSite (or equivalent property management software, and BlueMoon• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws• Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability• Ability and desire to jump in and assist with other community projects• Ability to work weekends• Attention to detail• Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers and customers• Assist the Property Manager to ensure compliance with all resident files• Assist with community events and resident retention Good To Have • Knowledge and experience in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Section 42, or other affordable housing programs• Proficiency in MS Office • Customer Service background• CALP (Certified Apartment Leasing Professional)• Knowledge of low-income certification HCCP
