Maintenance Associate- Maintenance Clerk

Description:
Position Purpose:Responsible for ordering material and or equipment for the Maintenance Department. Entering received items into COGZ System. Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.85Essential Functions: * Maintain Environmental Health & Safety standards in the workplace * Source new material upon request. Once received assign location and attach to appropriate equipment and establish min / max and order quantity per Maintenance Supervisors. * Maintain a proper inventory to avoid shortages * Evaluate mins / order quantity and efficiently process rush purchase orders * Evaluate and process purchase orders for repair vs new items * Generate PM's * Update Flash Report * Assist with yearly inventory count * Keep work area clean and organized at all times * Work in a safe manner at all times * Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations * Assists in the purchasing of all company supplies * Other duties as assignedEducation and Training* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)Minimum Qualifications* Ability to read & write* Good computer skills involving Microsoft Word & Excel* Good communication skills* Must be able to work independently* Able to work well with others* Ability to manage time efficiently* Phone Skills* Demonstrates dependability Physical Demands * Sedentary work * Computer work > 50% * Occasional lifting > 20 lbs.Environmental Conditions * Office setting and Tool Crib * Eye protection required at all times outside the office * Hearing protection required outside the office * Exposure to hot & cold temperatures * Exposure to noisy conditions * Steel toe boots are required at all timesHendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
