Your Opportunity as the Manager, Category Leadership - Walmart You will be responsible for leading the category advisor relationship inclusive of strategy development and modular execution for a designated category at Walmart. This role will lead a team of three direct reports working directly with Walmart to deliver winning category growth strategies. Key responsibilities include leading and advancing Category Management capabilities, developing holistic category strategies, and delivering flawless modular execution to drive winning in-store and e-commerce category growth for Walmart. This role works closely with our internal Category Strategy and Shopper Insight teams and many of our other cross functional partners to create holistic analyses of the Category landscape to develop and implement winning category growth strategies for Walmart. Location: Bentonville, AR Work Arrangements: Hybrid ~30% in office presence In this role you will: Foster collaborative relationships with the buyer, planner, modular development, and replenishment teams at WalmartDevelop actionable insights and strategies to drive winning category growth for WalmartManage a team of three direct reports in support of delivering flawless category advisory executionBe the omni-channel insights leader by integrating the digital shelf and omni-insights to drive optimal assortment and space recommendations to drive category growth for WalmartDevelop category performance scorecards and dashboards to evaluate sales, distribution, and category landscape activityEmploy space management and automation tools (Shelf IQ) to drive modular efficiencies and accuracyDevelop holistic omni-channel strategies by leveraging insights and analytics from industry-wide and retailer-specific data sourcesDeliver flawless modular executionProvide thought leadership on Category trends and growth strategiesBuild influential category growth strategies by gathering and analyzing category, consumer, and market data from multiple sources (e.g., Luminate, IRI, Retail Link, shopper insights, sales data).Guide team through adoption and implementation of best-in-class category tools and resources The Right Place for You We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together.
