Achieve more with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring for a Controls Engineering Technician in Jackson, Missouri. * Relocation package provided if needed * In-house position 5 days a week, 40 hours, flexible timesAs a Controls Technician you will: * Work with existing programs and troubleshoot and make adjustments to programs and equipment. * Create some custom Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Systems * Create the platform to control various automation systems, equipment, and machines * Work with a variety of engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance employees * Troubleshoot PLC systems with maintenance and manufacturing employees * Work with maintenance and quality control departments to update and improve existing PLC systemsThis is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have: * AAS in Electrical Engineering Tech or better preferred * 5+ years of PLC controls engineering including ability to program Allen Bradley PLC * Strong with automation and robotics * HMI screen development experience * Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience (RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000)Salary: $90K- 110K/year*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
