JOB TITLE: Facility Technician Location: Oxnard, CA Hourly rate range: $23-27/hour M-Thursday 8-4:30 and Friday 7am-3:30pmHerzog Wine Cellars offers a dynamic and inspiring environment where tradition and passion intertwine to create exceptional wines that reflect our rich heritage while embracing innovation. We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing all tasting room orders for shipment, tracking invoices and tracking numbers, receiving shipments, packing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting with bottle etching when required. What You’ll Do: Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on restaurant and wine production equipment to ensure proper functioning and quality. Facility Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and provide general maintenance to uphold cleanliness and safety standards in restaurant areas. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Coordinate with vendors and collaborate with staff to address maintenance needs promptly, minimizing disruptions. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance to optimize future efforts. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory for efficient equipment maintenance in both restaurant and wine production areas. What You’ll Need to Succeed: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 3+ years of relevant facility experience. Inventory management experience. Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of maintenance within a maintenance, manufacturing, and/or distribution environment. Knowledge of all equipment operation and energy sources related to safe lockout.
