Our Distribution Centers are hiring full-time associates for multiple roles to support the day, night, and weekend shifts. PetSmart offers four 10-hour weekday shifts or three 12-hour weekend shifts. Shifts vary by location and may include shift differential pay . We believe associates do most of their learning and development during the first 2 years of service; therefore, we have a seven-step pay program during this time. This includes 6 automatic wage increases after your starting pay rate: 4 in the first year of service and 2 more in your second year. Earn quarterly bonuses based on individual goals and distribution performance Pay increases with promotions Recommend your friends and family and earn up to $2,000 & four paid discretionary days for additional time off as part of our Associate Referral Bonus Program The impact you will makeIn our Distribution Centers, our goal is to get products to our pet parents as efficiently as possible. The Distribution Warehouse Material Handler plays a vital role in distribution center operations. This role supports the operations team by ensuring the quality and organization of materials. Material Organization: Operates Reach Truck to gather, move and stack pallets to support an efficient and smooth operation. Operates Dock Stocker to unload, sort, and track all salvage returns from stores. Unload and lay down of pallets in reusable condition for order fill processing. Material Recycling: Move and stack recyclables to support an efficient and smooth operation. Remove corrugate, plastic, and debris from breeze ways containers, bins, gay lords, receptacles, docks, and bags to a level that additional items can be placed in these areas without spillage and run over. What we are looking for Passion for pets and people and the desire to grow a fulfilling career High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to apply basic instructions and procedures and responds to standard requests Ability to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and carry and lift up to 50-75 lbs.
