Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.JOB SUMMARY:Program CMM equipment to meet product development requirements and complete first article inspections.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Program CMM's per Polaris requirements Complete first article inspections Support and provide input for CMM fixture development Troubleshoot CMM measurement issues (programming, hardware, etc.) Develop and manage CMM maintenance routines, plans, and activities Train others on proper measuring equipment and measuring techniques Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: 2+ years of vigorous machining CMM Programming Strong first article inspection experience Strong knowledge of standard Inspection Measurement Tool use and implementation Strong machining blueprint reading skills Strong GD&T skills in machining Strong computer skillsPREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Quality Engineering background ISO Machining backgroundWORKING CONDITIONS: Typical manufacturing and office environment conditionsWe are an ambitious, resourceful, and driven workforce, which empowers us to THINK OUTSIDE.
