Responsibilities: • Negotiate insurance coverage terms and conditions with management teams after thoroughly determining the clients’ commercial insurance needs against available insurance products • Implement a range of sales and networking strategies such as prospecting and cold calling potential customers to maintain grow customer base and provide outstanding service to your existing book of business; positioning the company as one with a competitive advantage at every opportunity• Clearly explain all insurance coverage to clients and keep up with all insurance industry changes, including limitations, regulations, and relevant legislation that may impact available insurance services• Visit with, follow up, call, and coach existing and prospective clients on commercial insurance policies as part of the company’s commitment to high-level personal attention and customer service• Serve as clients’ trusted advisors, in part, by developing risk management reports effective in reducing the need to file insurance claims Qualifications: • Prior experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for commercial lines• Ability to advice clients on relevant policies due to a thorough understanding of commercial enterprise structures and procedures• Computer proficiency is required, including Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel• Strong negotiation, research, analytical, and communication skill are necessary for success• Valid, state issued insurance license is mandatory: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License Compensation: $60,000+ About Company: Allied Insurance Managers, Inc. has provided insurance and risk management solutions to businesses and individuals since 1987.
