We are actively seeking to identify several Special Education teachers in Newark, NJ for our highly valued partnering school to start in the 2023/2024 academic school year. This school is part of a well-known network of public charter schools in the US where you can find yourself in a rewarding career. There are several openings at all levels, High School, Middle School, and Elementary School, to provide small group instruction (both pull-in and pull-out) support to exceptional learners. Note:For High School, they have learning support roles open in Math, ELA and History. Experience you will need: - 2+ years of teaching experience, with a demonstrated interest in working with students from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. - NJ State teaching certification completed and issued or in process of being completed. - Special education certification - A minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 if the graduation date is after 2016 or a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 if the degree was conferred before 2016. - Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university - A record of exceptional student achievement and results at a high-performing charter network/charter management organization is preferred - Salary starting $65k -$75k + full benefits
