C&L Autobody is seeking a Heavy Duty Tow Operator for the Northern NJ area. Responsibilities:Primary responsibilities include:• Drive tow truck safely to recover and/or maintain disabled vehicles• Perform pre-inspections preventive maintenance checks• Keep accurate time and mileage logs• Adhere to all local state and federal vehicle regulations• Provide customer-focused service at all times Physical Demands:• The work requires long periods of sitting, standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted Qualifications:To qualify for this position you will need:• 2 years’ tow truck driving experience• Pass drug screening• Clean background check• Clean driver’s license• Ability to park a commercial vehicle at your home is a plus• Experience with mobile device dispatch and GPS Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly About Company: C&L Autobody is a regional Multiple-Shop Organization (MSO) with 10 body shops throughout Morris, Sussex, Warren, Union, and Middlesex counties in Northern NJ. We also manage one of the largest towing fleets in the state.
