Position Description: *This is a flex schedule which includes nights/weekends and we operate 365 days a year, 24/7*This is a challenging and very rewarding position. Our dispatchers are investigative problem solvers, collaborative team players, and unflappable service agents. They are customer service oriented, take pride in what they do, and always have the ethics to do the right thing.Obstacles occur daily, so adjusting and adapting to the current situations is key to a dispatcher's success. They prioritize, dispatch, evaluate, analyze and re-allocate field operations workload and manpower as well as comparing resource availability with the work schedule to ensure balance is in place.Utilizing multiple technology platforms, they assist customers and employees regarding account information and service order requests including: Account inquiries City Inspections Emergency line locates Service requests Emergency situations Reschedule of uncompleted ordersThis department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our dispatchers work a 8 hour shifts. Position Requirements: We desire someone who reflects the ONE Gas company values and culture.Personal skills required:Attention to detailSafety-consciousTeam playerCustomer focusedRequired experience:The successful candidate must have:a high school diploma or equivalentExperience in use of standard office equipment, including strong computer skills and the ability to learn related software, as well as the ability to multitask and utilize multiple computer applications at one time.Strong critical thinking and problem solving skillsAbility to function under high-stress conditionsReacting appropriately in emergency situationsExperience researching, analyzing, and resolving issues to successful completionPrevious customer service experienceCandidate must be available for rotating schedule. Current schedule available is rotating night and weekend schedule.
