The Company is one of the largest producers of folding cartons and holds a leading market position in coated-unbleached Kraft board and coated-recycled board. One of its facilities is currently seeking an experienced Sheeter Helper for the Fort Smith, AR plant that is part of the Consumer Products DivisionShift is 12-hour nights - 6:45 AM to 7 PMRotating 4 nights on and 4 nights off Requires weekends, holidays, and frequent over time.Tobacco Free Facility inside and outside for 12-hour shift.Address: 10300 Roberts Blvd, Fort Smith, AR 72916Position Purpose * Participates in overall product outcome associated with Sheeter Presses. * Interprets and documents standards related to product performance and quality. * Assists in the maintenance and set up of equipment for customer product. * Supervision for position is random.Job Functions * Must be able to operate and be familiar with the flexo print requirements. * Must be able to handle re-stacking stock * Must be become familiar with technical aspects of press and be able to troubleshoot if needed. * Must be able to assist with CI sorting. * Must be familiar with SAP and PEAK. * Must be able to work towards achieving pressroom goals. * Mechanical skills are a plus. * Performs other organizational duties as required. * Must take direction from Shift Supervisor and Sheeter Operator * Must complete skill validation requirements for the Sheeter Helper Job. * Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. * Requires bending, pulling, walking. * Job Specifications * Knowledge - H.S. Education or equivalent, make-ready operations, Leary operations, computer literate, feeder packer and case sealer qualified. * Able to use SAP and PEAK systems. * Skills - Mechanical, communication. * Abilities-Good attendance, guide teams and processes, and ability to work alone.Graphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
