The ideal candidate from nationally recognized schools will have a strong academic background and must be admitted to practice in the District of Columbia. The role involves handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations, and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as:Working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing.Participating in digital/virtual conference calls.Participating in meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:5-7 years of experience handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds.Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Bar in the District of Columbia.Skills:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Time management and organization skills.Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools.
