The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds. They must possess a strong academic background from nationally recognized schools and be admitted to practice in NY.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as:Working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing.Participating in digital/virtual conference calls.Participating in meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:5-7 years of relevant experience in debt finance.Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.Admission to practice in New York (NY).Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar.Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
