About the Team The Presentation Design Team plays a critical and hands-on role in defining the presentations behind the narrative of our company! The team drives the presentations for our internal and external audiences that we craft with our Workmates from executives to subject matter authorities. About the Role Workday is seeking a Senior Presentation Designer to join our internal Presentation Design Team, as a design partner to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)! This role is more than completing design tasks; it's about being a creative advisor, redefining sophisticated messages into visually engaging stories that resonate with both internal and external audiences!The ideal candidate will be a meticulous designer, capable of asking the right questions to tell the right story, and someone who can say goodbye to walls of text in favor of compelling visuals. You thrive at working with individuals at the C-Suite and acting as a member of their broader team, often partnering with the Chief of Staff, Program Manager, and Creative Director at the onset of projects. You enjoy seeing your work impact the entire Marketing organization and bringing multiple perspectives into a cohesive story! Design and develop high-impact presentations for the CMO, supporting both internal and external engagements such as all employee meetings, sales kickoffs, and internal operation reviews.Serve as a creative consultant, advising on how best to communicate messages visually and ensuring that each presentation aligns with Workday's brand standards and strategic goals.Partner closely with presentation designers and art directors on the Presentation Design Team to share work and best practices, give feedback, and receive feedback.Occasionally implement designs outside of presentations such as editing down video clips using Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Suite.Be proactive and solutions oriented; look at existing processes and designs with a fresh set of eyes and suggest ways to improve About You Basic Qualifications8+ years of experience in visual design with executive partnersOther QualificationsHighly detail-oriented, with an interest in checking and re-checking everything from content, speaker notes, and graphicsExceptional people skills; you know how to read a room and lead to itOutstanding communication skills, with a knack asking questions and translating complex concepts into clear, engaging visual narratives. Bonus if you are comfortable sketching ideas on paper or whiteboardProven ability to work as part of a team with designers and non-designers alike, with a results-driven approach to teamwork and problem-solvingInterested in collaborating and learning with other presentation designers who have designed presentations for executives and CEOs from companies big and smallAppreciates the value of humor and having fun at work tooWillingness to travel as needed to support the CMO and other executive team members at various eventsExpertise in presentation design tools such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and proficiency in video editing software (Premiere), with the ability to perform light editing tasksHighly proficient in using MacOS, Microsoft Outlook, Slack, Google Drive Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
