Ensures a quality program with support from modality leads and staff. Effectively communicates with imaging staff on a regular basis. Prepares capital and operational budgets, including revenue projections, and regularly monitors to ensure fiscal integrity. Prepares business plans in support of imaging department objectives. Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures, as well as all Children's Wisconsin (CW) Core Competencies. Works with modality leads and staff to support and accomplish the goals and objectives of the Imaging Department, their respective modality and health system. Manages imaging team members: Recruits, interviews, recommends for hire, facilitates orientation and scheduling, and evaluates performance. We are looking for a BSN and nursing experience as this leader will support the nursing team. Bachelor's in Nursing, Master's degree in a healthcare field preferred.Imaging related certification or licensure (including nursing, radiographer).CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required. Three years of related healthcare care experience.Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership experience,Basic computer skills to operate a computer efficiently and effectively. Advanced analytical and decision making skills necessary to resolve employee and operational problems and assist in the development of departmental budgets.Management skill to effectively evaluate and administer corrective action to staff.An understanding of Children's Wisconsin health care delivery system and the impact of other health care delivery system on the patient and family.Provides services in a setting where there is potential for exposure to blood and other high risk body fluids, chemotherapy agents, communicable disease and hazardous materials, chemicals, and waste.Must be able to walk, stand for long periods, wearing protective equipment weighing 10-15 pounds over 80% of the assigned work period, as well as lift and position patients weighing up to 150 pounds.Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
