The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, relevant experience, and a commitment to excellence in handling intellectual property litigation matters, particularly within the life sciences sector. Job Overview:The Mid-Level IP Litigation (Life Sciences) Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support on intellectual property litigation matters, with a focus on cases related to the life sciences industry. This role involves handling a broad spectrum of cases, counseling clients, and demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professionalism. Duties:Conducting legal research and analysis to support intellectual property litigation cases, including patent and trade secret disputes.Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for court proceedings.Participating in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, trials, and appeals.Collaborating with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and tactics.Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts throughout the litigation process.Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on ongoing matters and potential risks. Requirements:Admission to a State Bar is required.Strong academic credentials in law and undergraduate coursework.Undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, or Biochemistry is preferred.3-5 years of experience with intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation.Excellent leadership skills and a strong work ethic.Outstanding research and analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Sound legal and business knowledge, particularly in the context of intellectual property litigation. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admission to a State Bar. Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct in all aspects of legal practice.
