LPN Team Lead RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the team on your assigned unit, assuring completion of all assigned resident care needs Provide direct "hands-on" patient care, including passing medications and performing treatments Oversee and guide CNA's work to ensure quality resident care and completeness Assists in the admission, transfer & discharge of residents Communicate closely with the Supervisor/Manager in terms of resident problems, progress, and care plans Direct and demonstrate individualized supportive care to the residents and their families while working cooperatively as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team ATTRIBUTES OF SUCCESSFUL LPNs: Current Licensed Professional Nurse license in the State of New York Good organizational and communication skills Respect for the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents Prior experience in long-term care is helpful but not necessary EMPLOYEE BENEFITS INCLUDE: Competitive pay rates Daily Overtime Pay after 7.5 hours worked in a day and 37.5 regular hours worked in a week Evening shift differential Weekly pay period Medical Insurance Premium is partially company-paid for single or family coverage (80% coverage for Full-Time employees and 60% coverage for Part-Time employees) Attractive benefits include a 403(b), paid pension plan & tuition assistance Opportunities for job advancement Supportive teamwork environment Fun employee perks and discounts!
