Job Description: Plumber/Drain TechnicianThe Plumber/Drain Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and drainage systems in a variety of residential and commercial settings. They will also be expected to troubleshoot issues related to plumbing and drainage, identify the root cause of problems, and provide effective solutions.Responsibilities:1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment, including pipes, faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, water heaters, and more.2. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.3. Handle plumbing emergencies, such as leaks, clogs, burst pipes, and overflowing toilets, promptly and efficiently.4. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing-related problems, utilizing various tools and equipment to determine the cause and extent of the issue.5. Prepare accurate estimates for plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations, including material and labor costs.6. Collaborate with clients to determine their plumbing needs and suggest appropriate solutions.7. Perform routine inspections of drainage systems, including sewers, drains, and gutters, to identify and remove clogs, blockages, or other issues.8. Operate plumbing and drain equipment, such as power snakes, hydro-jetters, sewer cameras, and augers, to clear obstructions and ensure proper flow.9. Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working with plumbing systems, ensuring the protection of oneself, colleagues, and clients.10. Keep detailed records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, including parts used, services provided, and recommendations for future improvements.11. Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in plumbing and drainage systems.12. Provide excellent customer service, answering queries, addressing concerns, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.Requirements:1. Proven experience as a plumber or drain technician, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems, equipment, and materials.2. Proficiency in using plumbing tools, equipment, and machinery.3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.4. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify root causes and provide effective solutions.5. Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, outdoors, and at heights.6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.7. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.8. Valid driver's license9. Commitment to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.10. Weekends/on call rotation once a month.
